Studio Wildcard has laid out a busy late-August schedule for ARK: Survival Ascended. The headline is the final Astraeos update on August 26 and its new fiery creature, Boaratos, but Community Crunch 519 also contains dates that matter to Genesis players, a reminder of Conquest Season 8 settings, a weekend Evolution Event, two substantial mod lists, and the closing stretch of ASA Mod Jam 2026.

Astraeos’ final update arrives August 26

The last planned update for Astraeos is scheduled for August 26. Boaratos will lead the update: Studio Wildcard describes it as a close-range bruiser built to fight durable opponents. Its confirmed combat kit combines physical power, fire attacks, and the ability to leave enemies bleeding.

Boaratos also has a utility role away from combat. The announcement says its heat can char trees before bringing them down, pointing to a harvesting use for tribes that put the creature to work around their base. Wildcard also teases a breakfast-themed reward after defeating one, but does not name the item or give exact drop mechanics. Taming requirements, saddle details, stat values, and a full ability list were not included in this Crunch, so those remain details to learn when the update lands.

Genesis transfers open September 4

Genesis Ascended Part 1 official-server transfers are scheduled to open September 4. From that point, players will be able to move items, creatures, and characters onto the map without the current restrictions. The date is important for established tribes preparing imported breeding lines, equipment, and resource stockpiles.

The timing also creates a short migration window for the Genesis Part 1 Expires network. Those temporary servers are scheduled to close on September 18, two weeks after unrestricted transfers open. Players using an Expires server should treat September 18 as a firm deadline and move anything they want to keep before the shutdown.

Conquest Season 8 settings remain in effect

Community Crunch 519 repeats the current Conquest Season 8 configuration. Conquest is the large-tribe PvP format introduced to Survival Ascended by Snail Games, with elevated rates intended to shorten setup and rebuilding time. The network is open across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

  • 18 Genesis Part 1 maps make up the season.
  • Cluster A contains 12 servers that previously had transfers enabled with Classic.
  • Cluster B contains six servers. Transfers were initially limited within those six servers.
  • The Crunch repeats that transfers between Clusters A and B opened July 17 at 10 a.m. Pacific; that date has already passed and is context for the present configuration, not a new upcoming opening.
  • 5x rates apply to the Conquest season.

Tek is enabled with named exceptions. The excluded equipment is the Tek Grenade, Tapejara Tek Saddle, Megalodon Tek Saddle, Rock Drake Tek Saddle, Mosasaur Tek Saddle, and Tek Railgun. Anyone planning a raid or defensive build should account for that restricted list instead of assuming the complete Tek catalogue is available.

Official-network bonus rates run through August 17

The official network is receiving boosted rates through Monday, August 17. The bonuses differ by server type:

  • Standard PvP and PvE: 2x harvesting, taming, experience, and breeding.
  • Small Tribes: 4.5x harvesting, taming, and experience, plus 4x breeding.
  • ARKpocalypse: 5x harvesting, taming, experience, and breeding.

That makes this weekend a useful window for resource runs, creature lines, and character leveling. Players should finish time-sensitive breeding or farming before the event closes rather than assuming the multipliers continue into the regular week.

Eleven cross-platform mods receive a spotlight

Wildcard’s weekly cross-platform showcase also points players toward custom maps, building pieces, cosmetics, creature work, and other additions available through Survival Ascended’s in-game mod browser. The featured projects and credited creators are:

  • Showcase Storage Skins by Kokoukohiro
  • Forglar Part II by SnowyTrain

  • Bathroom Clutter Evolved by Faine
  • Ocean Platforms Catalogue – Custom Cosmetic by Fernandess and Dani_FM

  • Paleo ARK – Evolution | Apex Predators by Team Paleo ARK

The showcase is separate from the Mod Jam finalist field, so players looking for either collection should use the official Crunch as the complete reference and the in-game browser to check availability on their platform.

The practical dates are the clearest takeaway from this Crunch: Astraeos concludes August 26, Genesis transfers open September 4, Genesis Expires servers close September 18, the current Evolution Event ends August 17, and the Mod Jam winners are due August 21. Boaratos may be the centerpiece, but server preparation and transfer planning are the parts most likely to punish players who miss the calendar.
