Stop and back up
Stop the server cleanly. Copy the world save, GameUserSettings.ini, and Game.ini somewhere safe.

Open the config folder
Look inside ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer or LinuxServer. A host may expose the same files in its control panel.

Merge each block
Place every value under the matching section. Remove older duplicate lines because the last duplicate usually wins.

Restart and test
Check the server log, confirm the rates in play, and test imprint timing before inviting the whole community back.

Moderate XP, harvesting, and taming boosts shorten repetition while keeping tools, kibble, and stronger creatures valuable.

Breeding

Maturation and imprinting interact

A very fast maturation rate with a long cuddle interval can make full imprinting impossible. Always test a complete cycle.

Difficulty

Existing spawns do not change

After changing difficulty, a wild-creature wipe may be required before the new level range is visible across the map.
