Studio Wildcard marked its 500th Community Crunch with a particularly packed seasonal update, confirming the return of Eggcellent Adventure alongside a new creature, a large garden-themed cosmetic collection, boosted Official Network rates, and a Golden Dodo challenge. The announcement was published on March 28, 2026, with the main event subsequently running from Tuesday, March 31 through Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Those dates are now in the past, but the Crunch remains a useful record of what the 2026 celebration introduced and how private-server owners can reactivate its content.

Eggcellent Adventure returned with boosted progression

The event retained its familiar scavenger-hunt structure. Wild Bunny Dodos and Bunny Oviraptors dropped Bunny Eggs around the ARK, giving survivors collectibles that could either be painted or spent on seasonal crafting. The rewards covered costumes, structure and equipment skins, emotes, chibis, and event colors, making egg collection relevant to both character customization and base decoration.

Official PvP and PvE servers received 2x harvesting, taming, experience, and breeding for the duration of Eggcellent Adventure. Small Tribes operated at 4.5x harvesting, taming, and experience with 4x breeding, while ARKpocalypse received 5x harvesting, taming, experience, and breeding. These multipliers made the two-week window especially valuable for raising creatures, restocking materials, and completing tame-heavy projects.

Community Crunch 500 also announced a separate Official Network bonus weekend that ended Monday, March 30, 2026—one day before Eggcellent Adventure began. It used the same rate structure: 2x across the standard PvP and PvE network, 4.5x progression and 4x breeding on Small Tribes, and 5x across ARKpocalypse. Players reviewing the original schedule should therefore distinguish that preliminary weekend boost from the longer March 31–April 14 event period.

Flovis joined the seasonal creature lineup

The headline addition to the event roster was Flovis, identified by Studio Wildcard as a new event creature. The announcement did not provide confirmed abilities or taming details, so its inclusion should not be read as evidence of any mechanics beyond its appearance in the Eggcellent Adventure lineup. Returning seasonal creatures included the Bunny Dodo and Bunny Oviraptor.

The event’s chibi selection comprised Bunny, Easter Chick, Jerbunny, and Spring Shinehorn. Its core event items included the new Flower Wreath, Bunny Eggs, and Eggcellent Adventure Festive Dino Candy. Together, these rewards preserved the celebration’s established Easter identity while giving collectors several additions that had not appeared in earlier versions.

A major garden cosmetic set expanded the rewards

The largest block of new content was a coordinated garden collection. Character equipment included Garden Pants, a Garden Shirt, and a Straw Hat. Tool and weapon transformations included a Trowel for the axe, Hand Rake for the sickle, Hand Hoe for the pickaxe, Rake for the pike, and Shepherd’s Crook for the spear.

New base skins transformed practical storage, crafting, farming, and furniture pieces into spring garden props:

  • Garden Box for the Small Storage Box and Garden Storage for the Large Storage Box
  • Garden Shelf for the Bookshelf and Egg Painting Bench for the Smithy
  • Garden Shed for the Vault
  • Garden Pallet Bench, Chair, and Bed for their respective wooden furniture pieces
  • Crop Box and Crackable Eggs for Small Decor Boxes
  • Garden Compost Bin, Garden Fridge, and Garden Bin for the Compost Bin, Refrigerator, and Preserving Bin
  • Fenced Up Plot variants for Small, Medium, and Large Crop Plots

Returning cosmetics included Egg Grenades, the Lamb Costume, Spring Tiara, survivor and dinosaur Round Sunglasses, Flower Feeding Trough, Flower Vase, Chocolate Rabbit Club, E4 Remote Eggsplosives, Sweet Spear Carrot, Bunny Costume, Bunny Ears, Bunny Tail, Easter Chick Hat, Easter Egg Hat, Easter Egghead, Marshmallow Hat, and several creature accessories. The dinosaur selection included an Easter Egg Hat, Bunny Ears, and Easter Chick Hat, while Procoptodon could once again wear its dedicated Bunny Costume.

The new Sunbathing and Watering Can emotes joined the returning Flower Toss and Bunny Hop Dance. Event coloration covered Magenta, Light Green, Light Yellow, Light Orange, Light Red, Dino Light Brown, Yellow, Cyan, Green, Dino Medium Blue, Turquoise, LightPink, DeepPink, Peach, Mint, Teal, PowderBlue, and Cream. Breeders seeking event-colored lines therefore had a broad palette available during the celebration.

Private servers can install the event as a mod

Eggcellent Adventure was distributed through the in-game mod browser under Mod ID 877745. Players can locate it from the main menu’s mod tab, install it, return to the game setup screen, open Mod Settings, and move Eggcellent Adventure from Available Mods into the active selection.

Private-server administrators can enable the same package by adding its ID to their launch arguments through -mods=877745. Studio Wildcard stated that no additional activation changes should be required. That gives unofficial communities a route to revisit the creatures, crafting loop, and cosmetics even though the scheduled Official Network event has concluded.

The 500th Crunch added a competitive Golden Dodo hunt

To celebrate the milestone, Studio Wildcard concealed 10 Golden Dodos throughout the Community Crunch itself. Entrants had to find every valid Dodo, capture a screenshot clearly showing each location, and submit all 10 images as proof through a private thread in the designated Official ARK Discord channels. The prominently displayed example Dodo did not count.

Collaboration was prohibited, and submission threads had to remain private. The first 10 survivors to provide successful proof could choose a key for an existing product or for the next Fantastic Tame. The announcement did not specify a conventional closing date, making placement among the first 10 valid entries the decisive condition.

Cross-platform mods rounded out the milestone update

The weekly cross-platform mod showcase highlighted Tribal by Elemental Legion, Military Vehicle Skins by SurviveDeimos, Cool Skinny Raptor by MinyYamori, Kocielapki’s Cat Transmitter Skin by Kocielapki, Gingerpithecus by Kviden, and Xyphia’s Creatures: Meiolania by Xyphias. The Meiolania project had also received a content update adding a new saddle.

Community Crunch 500 ultimately combined a commemorative community milestone with a substantial playable event. Eggcellent Adventure’s boosted rates rewarded active Official Network players during its March and April run, while Flovis, the garden set, new emotes, and reusable mod package gave the 2026 edition additions with a longer life beyond the original schedule.
